Purse..or Garbage bag? Yet to be revealed..

Today our mom handed our aunt her purse and looked into it and said "Is this a purse or a garbage bag?" Our aunt pulled some of the stuff out, and one of the things was sea shells...Who carries sea shells in their purse?
